Should I wear it wet or dry?
Either. Wear it dry, or dampen it with cool water and wring it out before you go in for an extra cooling feel.
What is the best material for a sauna hat?
Thick, dense wool felt is the best all-round choice because wool insulates well, breathes and copes with heat and moisture. Merino is a premium choice that feels softer against the skin.
Can I use it in an infrared sauna or steam room?
Yes. CALOR suits traditional, wood-fired and infrared saunas. In a steam room the wool will get damp, so rinse and air dry it afterwards.
What size should I choose?
CALOR is one size and fits most adults, men and women. The wool relaxes slightly with wear. Long hair tucks up underneath in a loose bun.
How do I wash it?
Rinse in cool water with a little wool-safe wash, gently squeeze out the water, reshape and air dry. No washing machine or dryer.
